Main Characteristics

– Low-priced mattresses tend to have less durable construction and materials as well as fewer features than more expensive mattresses. In addition, most have short warranties (10 years or less).

– As indicated below, in at least 25% of cases, low-priced mattresses are used only on a temporary or occasional basis (i.e., by house guests, college students, children) as opposed to being used long term and regularly.
