Novaform Firmness

Novaform Durability / Longevity
There is considerable variability in regard to how long Novaform mattresses will last and remain comfortable, even among mattresses of the same model. In other words, all things being equal, one person's mattress may last many years, and another person's may last only months.
Novaform does not have enough of a track record / history to accurately determine long term durability. However, there is a significant number of owners who report having their bed at least four years with little or no sign of sagging (development of body impressions / loss of comfort & support).
On the other hand,
about 15% of owners report significant and often dramatic sagging within just three years. This percentage is at least somewhat higher than most other memory foam mattress brands. Premature sagging can be a problem for all sleepers, regardless of their weight, but heavier Novaform owners (200+ lbs.) tend to be more likely to have a problem.
Novaform Off Gassing / Initial Odor
"Off gassing" is the giving off of a chemical-like odor when the mattress is new. There is considerable variability in regard to whether, how strongly and for how long Novaform mattresses will off gas, even among mattresses of the same model. The graph below shows the breakdown of how owners rate the intensity of the off gassing or if there is any problem at all. Moderate off gassing usually stops after a few days while strong off gassing can persist for longer.
