Sealy memory foam mattresses have 76% owner satisfaction overall. This rate is lower than the rate for memory foam beds overall (80%) but higher than the rate for all beds overall (73%). The various Sealy models appear to rate similar to one another (76%).
At least 18% of owners have reported sagging, support loss, and or the development of significant body impressions occurring within three years of ownership. This rate is higher than the rate for both the average mattress and the average memory foam mattress. Firmer Sealy memory foam mattress models may perform somewhat better than softer models on this issue.
*within three years of ownership.
Sealy memory foam mattresses overall are somewhat lower priced than both the average mattress and those mattresses with generally similar specifications.
Off gassing is a chemical-like or musty odor that new mattresses sometimes release. Sealy memory foam mattresses tend to off gas somewhat less often and less strongly than the average memory foam mattress. (See mattress off gassing for general analysis.)
Despite extensive use of gel-infused foam, about 11% of Sealy memory foam owners report sleeping hot at least some of the time to an extent that undermines sleep quality / quantity. (See memory foam heat retention for general analysis.)
