What You Need To Know
The light is just ok -- as is the noise. You probably would
be better off buying a quality sound machine and a separate
nightlight.

Review
The following review is a summary of at least 25 actual
owner experiences collected from diverse sources including online message boards, product review websites and product review sections on retailers' websites.
Price: $25
The Kikkerland uses digital recordings of a stream, ocean
waves, rainfall and rainforest sounds. It can be timed to
play for 15, 30, 45 minutes or non-stop. The globe light on
top creates a shifting rainbow effect as it slowly changes
from one color to another, or you can set it to display a
single color continuously.
The sounds of this product are mediocre at best. Two of the
four have bird chirpings which can be startling and not relaxing.
The speaker quality is also not good. And as with most sound
machines that use digital recordings, you can notice when
the loop begins again which can be annoying to someone with
a sensitive ear. In this case, each loop is only about five
seconds long.
Like most sound machines in this price range, don't expect
terrific quality and longevity.
It has OK portability given its size (4 x 4 x 8 inches) and
weight (one pound). However, the globe may not hold up to
being thrown in a suitcase.
