Sleeping Bag Comfort Ratings -- Based on Data From Over 1,350 Actual Owners
Page last updated August 15, 2009
Based on owner data, rectangular sleeping bags overall are considered more comfortable than mummy bags. This is mainly because rectangle bags offer more space inside, a wider variety of sleeping positions, and generally better sleep quality.
The chart below shows brand comfort ratings based on actual owner experiences. Keep in mind that this represents what is often, but not always, the case; a particular model or even individual sleeping bag may go against these findings.
