Pillow Noise -- Based on Data From Over 5,700 Actual Owners
Most pillow types do not make noise when your head is on them. Feather, water-based, buckwheat and mircobead pillows, however, do have at least the potential to produce at least some noise. This noise, however, is not usually enough to cause dissatisfaction in the pillow, and the sleeper often gets used to it quickly.
The chart below shows the noise level of pillow types based on owner / user data. Keep in mind that this represents what is often, but not always, the case; a particular brand, model or even individual pillow may go against these findings.
