Satisfaction
While the clear majority of owners are satisfied with their pillow dog bed, those who were not satisfied said the product was too small for their dog, not durable enough (gets chewed, torn, wears easily), and or too thin / not enough cushioning.

Durability
Owners indicate that durability / longevity for this type of dog bed is likely worse than average. Ownership length often is in terms of months, not years. An aggressive or moderate chewer could destroy the product quickly.

Average price paid
A slight majority of owners paid over $60 for their dog bed, while the rest paid less. A larger bed will cost more than a smaller one.

Value
Given that they typically lack much padding and that their durability is often not their strong point, value is considered by owners to be no better than fair to good.

Dog size
Pillow dog beds are used by owners of all dog sizes and breeds.

Ease of cleaning
Cleaning generally involves putting the entire bed into the washing machine or removing a cover for washing.

Padding
These pet beds generally have adequate padding, but a common complaint among owners is that the beds are too thin to provide maximum or even acceptable comfort for the dog.

Appearance
They often are available in a wide variety of colors and designs.

Indoor / outdoor
Most owners use them for indoors, but waterproof outdoor models are available.

Travel friendly
Their size and weight make them no better than a fair to good travel companion.

Lightweight
They tend to weigh less than other dog bed types because they often have less inside contents / filling.
