Durability / longevity b- Based on limited long-term owner experience data, Angel Beds have fairly similar durability / longevity to similarly priced memory foam mattresses. Angel Beds, like memory foam mattresses in general, may over time lose at least some of their resiliency, become softer, sag and or develop body impressions.
Affordability c Prices range from $750-$3,700 depending on model and mattress size.
Firmness variety b- Firmness can vary at least somewhat by model.
Less pain b A least 15% of Angel Bed consumers report less pain, including less back, hip and shoulder pain. (See mattresses and pain relief for general analysis.)
Motion isolation a- The mattress absorbs motion from one person so that the other person is not much disturbed. This is a strength of memory foam mattresses in general.
No initial odor / off gassing C About 9% of owners report significant initial odor / off gassing. This percent is about average compared to all mattresses overall. (See mattress off gassing for more analysis.)
Easy to move on c Angel Beds have fewer complaints than Tempurpedic on this issue, but Angel Beds nevertheless may offer resistance to changing positions, tossing / turning.
No sleeping hot C About 8% of owners report a heat trap problem. The higher density foam used in the beds may result in a higher likelihood of the bed acting as a heat trap.
No noise a The mattress is silent under all conditions.
No rotating / flipping b- Rotating the mattress may be needed to maintain comfort / support and combat sagging. One-sided design means no flipping.
Lightweight d Heavy weight is a top owner complaint.
Warranty b All Angel Bed models have a 20-year warranty (10-year full warranty followed by prorated coverage.) See mattress warranties: what you should know.
Return policy b- For 90 days, money-back on returns is given and return shipping is free. The customer is responsible to box the bed up and have it ready for pick-up. (See returning a mattress: what you should know.)
Better Business Bureau Rating NR Parent company, Merrick Group Capital, has currently "no rating" with the BBB because, according to the BBB: "The business is in the process of responding to previously closed complaints."
Number of Better Business Bureau Complaints D+ Parent company, Merrick Group Capital, has had 30 Better Business Bureau complaints filed against it in the past three years. Most mattress companies of similar size have had fewer than five complaints.
