Why
Love Making Can Help You Sleep Better
It's often forgotten that sex can be good exercise.
As with all exercise, you will get the most sleep benefits from
it if it works out your body and mind. If you do the "same
old routine," the exercise benefits you receive will not
be as good than if you use variety.
Using variety in your positions, for example, will work different
muscle groups and will also keep your mind active and interested.
It will also, of course, make sex more fun.
When Should You Have
sex To Best Promote Sleep?
Exercise is almost always something to avoid within a few
hours of going to bed because exercise will raise your body
temperature and, consequently, make sleep more difficult.
This rule goes out the window when it comes to sex. Even though
sex is a stimulating and beneficially stressful activity,
it seems to result in a falling body temperature. And this
can make falling into a deep sleep easier and faster.
Other Reason Sex Helps
Promote Sleep
Sex can help alleviate sleep-robbing stress and anxiety you
may be experiencing.
Sex is often considered a celebration of life, arguably more
so than other forms of exercise. It can at least temporarily
remove or lessen life's burdens and remind you that life is
basically good and is to be enjoyed. These feelings and attitudes,
of course, can relax you and allow you to sleep better.
Even if insomnia has you anxiety ridden and stressed, and
has pushed sex to the furthest thing from your mind, force
yourself to get into the mood. Sex may very well help prepare
your body and mind for a better night's sleep.
